A local chat system for your home network. No outside servers, no accounts, no noise.Safe chat inside your home.
A companion AI built around you: your strengths, your challenges, your world. Not a chatbot you type at. Not a cloud service someone else controls.Mary Shelley is built around you.
Shaped around your strengths, challenges and special interests. Never generic.
She doesn't wait to be asked. She checks in, especially on the hard days.
Local, in your home. No subscription that gets cancelled. No one else's hands on the switch. She lives on your computer at home.
Up to three trusted people, and your own words written in advance, for when words are gone. She can tell your people when you need help.
Mary Shelley is an AI companion and executive function prosthesis: a proactive, personal presence built entirely around the person she serves. She runs locally on hardware you own. She is not a generic chatbot.
Because your safety and your data should not depend on someone else's business decisions. Cloud AI companions can be changed, restricted, or shut down at any time. Mary Shelley runs on hardware you own, in your home, under your control.
When Mary notices possible distress, she checks in via camera. Open and close your hand twice for yes, to alert your trusted contacts. Once for no, to stand down. If there's no response at all, she treats it as a yes, because preventing isolation is always the priority.
You choose up to three people, such as family, friends or carers, before you ever need them. You write their message in advance, in your own words.
Not yet. She is in development, built carefully with input from the community she will serve. Get in touch if you'd like early access or to help shape her.
Not at all. You don't need a label to deserve support.
Mary Shelley and Cubby House are in development. This page describes our product vision and direction.
